The main objective of this Second Seminar is to understand the overview of prevailing septage & wastewater treatment situation in Sri Lanka, and to discuss on how to improve the water environment in Sri Lanka with utilizing the decentralized wastewater treatment system (including Johkasou). In this Seminar, Japanese regulation (degree, circular, technical guideline, standard, tec., regarding the obligation of installation, desludging, O&M, inspection, and fee payment). will be introduced as an example to improve the situation on the decentralized wastewater management in Sir Lanka.
